Five Cities One Resonant Homecoming.

After a heartfelt musical pilgrimage across Java, Bali’s beloved indie-folk band Dialog Dini Hari is bringing their soul-stirring tour, “Suara yang Bertumbuh” (“Voices That Grow”), back home to where it all began. The final stop lands at Black Sand Brewery in Canggu on June 22, 2025, closing out an intimate, six-day run that spanned the island of Java.
This isn’t just a tour finale—it’s a homecoming. A return to roots, a celebration of sound nurtured through five cities: Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Solo, and Gresik. And over six soul-packed nights, Dialog Dini Hari turned each venue into a space of connection, memory, and collective catharsis.
“This tour wasn’t merely a string of shows. It was a spiritual journey for us. Every city gave us something profound—stories, energies, and moments we’ll never forget,” said Dadang Pranoto, the band’s frontman and lead guitarist.
A Journey in Bloom
True to its name, “Suara yang Bertumbuh” became a mutual growth journey between the band and their listeners. From a spirited opening night in Jakarta, a tender and introspective crowd in Bandung, the spellbinding ambiance of Yogyakarta, a surprise-filled night in Solo, and the heartfelt finale in the modest yet electric Gresik.

One of the most memorable moments came during the Jakarta kickoff at Berkala Coffee. Comedian and music writer Soleh Solihun happened to be there and captured the essence of the show in a tweet-worthy vignette. “I was at a café waiting for a meeting. Suddenly, there was a band setting up. Some guy at the next table said on the phone, ‘There’s a band here. Ngobrol Dini Hari,’” confusing “Dialog Dini Hari” for casual late-night chatter.
What followed was anything but casual. Dadang’s awkward yet charming stage banter layered beautifully with the band’s emotionally potent setlist. From fan favorites like “Tentang Rumahku” to new songs off their latest album Renjana, the nearly two-hour performance became an impromptu choir session, with the crowd singing along every step of the way.

Here’s a glimpse at the songs setlist that defined the tour: Pohon Tua Bersandar, Temui Diri, Lengkung Langit, Kita & Dunia, Aku Dimana, Cahaya Perkasa, Sediakala, Renovasi Otak, Lagu Cinta, Durja, Pelangi, Pagi, Oksigen, Tentang Rumahku and Jerit Sisa.
This tour wasn’t just about performance—it was cultural diplomacy. Dialog Dini Hari collaborated with grassroots collectives in each city, creating immersive, hyperlocal experiences:

- Bandung: Rumah Kultur & The Produksi (@rumahkultur @_theproduksi)
- Yogyakarta: Blackhole & Hook Space (@blackhole.show @hookspace)
- Solo: City of Laboratory (@city_oflaboratory)
These alliances weren’t afterthoughts; they were foundational. Every stage was curated to reflect each city’s flavor, inviting audiences into more than a concert—into a shared moment of expression.
Black Sand Brewery: The Tour’s Beating Heart
Instrumental to this tour’s success is Black Sand Brewery, the main sponsor and spiritual co-pilot. Beyond logistics and promotion, their presence grounded the tour in community.
“We believe music is essential in shaping culture and building community. Supporting ‘Suara yang Bertumbuh’ was a no-brainer—this is about more than music; it’s about celebrating life,” said Mian, a Black Sand Brewery representati

Canggu Finale: A Night to Remember
The final chapter of this journey takes place in Canggu, where Dialog Dini Hari will deliver a full set of old and new classics in their most intimate setting yet.
But this night is more than just a show. It also marks the world premiere of an awe-inspiring documentary film, “Fauna Friends: Snakes & Surfbreaks”, directed by Australian filmmaker @luka.r_films.
The film follows a group of nature-loving misfits on a three-month expedition through Indonesia’s most remote jungles in search of the elusive cobra. Both hilarious and heartfelt, the documentary is a lush homage to wild Indonesia, underlined by themes of friendship, obsession, and the call of the unknown.
Dialog Dini Hari’s track “Hiduplah Hari Ini” features as part of the film’s official soundtrack, infusing its narrative with the band’s signature warmth and lyrical wisdom.
Join the exclusive screening of “Fauna Friends” and celebrate the end of the tour at Black Sand Brewery on June 22, 2025.
